Grenades do not give EXP?

Why is this the case? I've crafted both frags and stuns and...the bar does not seem to move.

I don't think it's considered a "firearm" like that. The reason the higher firearms level is on is so 50 sweaters don't craft grenades and stun grenades

If it's not considered a firearm then you shouldn't gain firearms experience by crafting bobby pins.

The whole system became a mess after we got the new guns, you just need strength 1 and intelligence 1 to craft weapons now which is pretty dumb IMO. Needing to assign certain genetics to craft higher tier guns was great like needing intelligence 5 to craft a M82 but shame to see it go unless I am missinformed and they have been changed some time ago.
