The only reason I'm asking is because I'm inexperienced and haven't done this one before, and in general I want some advice from someone who has more experience than me in doing this.
I want to move my old HDD with Windows 7 installed on it, into a PC with a HDD, where the OS is installed on the SSD, Windows 10.
The tricky part for me is how I would do it, and what to expect. It'll happen in about 5 or so days, so I just want to be prepared and have all the info I need, ready for when it needs to happen.
I'm not expecting problems placing the hardware into the PC, but rather problems with prompts and procedures when I want to actually use it.
The old HDD doesn't necessarily need to keep the OS or all of its content, I just want to have that extra 1TB, and I'll gladly re-install everything on it.
I don't know how this'll go, and don't want to sit there with something fucked up.
Tips?
