Of fucking course, the area where I rest my hand on can have so much dead skin if you scratch it it's unbelievably disgusting and also how much of a dust magnet it becomes, anyone that doesn't clean theirs after every 3-6 months has no hygiene.

I clean mine quite often. Probably like once a month. I have a 1.3 metre mousemat, so it covers most of my desk. If anything gets on my desk, it gets on the mousemat, causing me to have to clean the mousemat.
