This might not be a problem for most of you, but if your computer has two virtual keyboard languages, there is a chance that you will change keyboard language while playing PERP. If you are unsure what I mean by this: Windows 10 has the ability to allow you to use multiple keyboard languages at once. This is useful if you, for example, are using an Arabic based keyboard but need to type in English. This also makes it much easier to distribute Windows and make it more accessible.

The problem comes from the shortcut Left Alt + Shift which cycles through the keyboard languages on your computer. If you lack the brain cells to understand where the problem is: if you stop sprinting (Left Alt) but hit the Shift key before you have let go of Left Alt (and vice versa), the keyboard will change. When the shortcut is run, there isn't any feedback from Windows (no noise or popup) which can spark quite a bit of confusion.

To fix this issue:
  1. Press Windows Key + X.
  2. Select "Settings"
  3. Search "Advanced keyboard settings"
  4. then click "Input language hot keys"
  5. select the "Between input languages" option
  6. click "Change Key Sequence..."
  7. Set both "Switch Input Language" and "Switch Keyboard Language" to "Not Assigned"
  8. Hit OK
This will disable the shortcut but you are still able to switch between languages by selecting them on the Taskbar menu.
