!!! Recommended to have Directx 11 !!!
I'm not saying this is perfect and for the people who don't want it don't have to do it, but I find it enjoyable. It's still source engine so don't expect to suddenly have Unreal Engine 4 graphics.
To start;
First download these textures to retexture most of the GMOD props. For example this clock is now more 'HD'

Post Process Options:
For some it might be better when putting Initial node distance to 7500
Addon for the lights:
Ultra Effects Pack V3.5
Use these settings for my setup with the car lights and stuff (check above)

The lights will make the carlights look like they have Xenon lights like shown here:
