Is this a new law or a change to a current law: New

What law do you wish to add:
9.9 - Armed Robbery
Any person who unlawfully steals or deprive another person's property or possession via the use or threat of physical harm with an offensive weapon are guilty of this crime.
Felony - Liable to 7 years imprisonment and $6000 maximum fine and asset forfeiture

Why should this addition be made:
Currently, there are no laws covering armed robberies, such as bank robberies, on larger scales. Which means, if no DNA of murder is uploaded, you'll have to scout through the penal code to find some vague law that resembles armed robbery. There should absolutely be a law that specifically mentions armed robbery. As we can't stack laws, some Bank Robbers are often found to be let off with lighter sentences, even though they literally just attempted to rob a bank.
This law will also cover muggings, as a mugging also falls under this definition of armed robbery, so there is a more direct law against it, rather than officers having to decide "was it unlawful detainment or threat of physical harm, which one should I give?".
It also allows officers to give Armed Robbery sentences instead of always being "Murder or nothing".

What is the aim of this addition:
In essence, clarity and practicality. Armed Robbery is a law in itself, and currently there exists no law that covers the forceful theft of items with a weapon in the Paralake Penal Code, which quite frankly is ridiculous, considering the setting we're in in Paralake.

Additional Information:
Change the Warrant message to this law instead of just "Robbing the Bank" (the automated warrant is a good example on there being no universal law against this, which is stupid"

There are already two posts for very similar things

well nothing has happened i feel like this is fair. either put this one out of the theft related offenses one which gives us more ability to deal with burgulars.

If we go as far as aggrevated burglary we also need a definition for possession of burgular items. and maybe even a law for it, like if you have a crowbar and bobby pin and/or firearm on you and trespassing on a property it is possession of robbery/burgulary items
