Currently the mayor system seems a bit... flawed to say the least. At times it's somewhat overpowered, at others it's infuriating. Here's a simplified poll and an area to discuss what should be changed about it.
Note
Events are mainly as a method of providing the mayor with situations to take charge of. However I may fully break the 'events' thing off into its own suggestion.

Some examples would include
An anonymous donor has donated $200,000 to the city!
A recent crash into the ocean of a shipment of supplies to the Paralake Airport has caused all materials to rise in price!
An earthquake has rocked the city and caused large rockslides and collapse of the Parker Tunnel
A flood has struck the city and the lower sections of the city have been submerged! ( P.pass,city fredys, docks, etc. having water rise up to them)
