Idea 1:
Description of the idea:
Melee weapons causing a player to stagger and flinch when hit with them.

Currently if you’re being beaten with a bat, you can raise your firearm and shoot with only slight inconvenience. I personally feel as though it should be far more difficult to repel a surprise melee attack. Movement speed will slow down slightly upon a successful hit and bats in particular will have this. When Hit with a bladed melee weapon, your screen should shake like when you get punched but slightly more, and with a bat, it should shake twice as hard than it does with a punch

Why should this be added? (pros):
Realistic
Melee weapons are more viable

What negatives could this have? (cons):
Buffing melees to a point where they could actually compete with weapons might make them viable options to break 3.4 with

Description of the idea:
Melee weapons with their heavy attacks (right click attacks) do twice the damage they normally would from behind and 25% more damage against a target without a weapon or fists raised.

Realistically, being walloped with a melee weapon when you least expect it would be more harmful as you don’t have time to flinch or shield yourself from an attack.

Also, being stabbed in the back or twatted across the back of the head with a bat is significantly more dangerous than an attack on the front of your body due to your spinal column and brain stem being more accessible there.
Why should this be added? (pros):
- pro sneak attack
- combat knives Would be infinitely more useful

What negatives could this have? (cons):
- Sweaters who get their hands on a bat being able to try massrdming with what is essentially a guaranteed first kill.
- People flanking heavy weapons raids with just bats
