mic not working in gmod

as title says, mic is not working in gmod. Stopped working yesterday, cannot fix. Tried reinstalling all addons and game. Still not fixed. Any suggestions?

Is it just gmod? And have you tested your mic on any other games?

Try voice_enable 1 in console, or check your options if 'Enable voice in this game' is checked.

Have you set the microphone to be the default device, and does it say in your steam settings that it's the right microphone?

If possible, provide screenshots of your sound control panel in the Recording tab, as well as your steam settings under the Voice tab.

I had the problem where my mic wouldnt work on GMOD and CS. Ended up being something wrong with my steam settigs which I couldn't find. Solved by reinstalling steam. Test your mic on steam to see if it works there.

It is on the correct settings on steam, when i test microphone it works fine.

This is the default for when i got my PC.

I turned on the Noise suppression a while ago and echo cancellation way before i had any issues. I tried turning it off and then seeing if it worked and it didn't.
