Is this a new law or a change to a current law: This is a change to 12.4 Illegal parking
What law do you wish to change/add: I wish to add "However, you may stop on the side of the road, with hazard lights on to pick up, or drop off passengers unless otherwise indicated by signage."
Why should this change/addition be made: This makes it simpler for taxi drivers to deliver customers to locations that aren't easily accessible by a parking lot, and allows them to pick up passengers from the side of the road.
What is the aim of this change/addition: To permit conduct that is sometimes necessary for a taxi driver, and clarify the legality of it.
Additional Information: Another possible revision would be
This would make it easier for citizens to pick up food quickly at a local Fredy's when the parking is full, instead of forcing them to park quite a distance away and walk.
Vehicles may not be parked on public roads, sidewalks, pathways or any other public area not intended for parking unless designated by the parking road markings.
