Preface
Welcome to the June 2023 edition of the Monthly Roundup. This newsletter is designed to keep our employees and the public updated with any changes in the city or department. Attached to the newsletter will be a message from the office of the Chiefs of Department, awards, key moments and careers. Any additions to the newsletter please contact Human Resources via helpdesk.
Message from the Chief
There have been plenty of changes in the department this June! Traffic Command welcomes a new Captain, two new Lieutenants, and three new Staff Sergeants following various resignations and promotions. Additionally, a new Lieutenant of the Professional Standards Division has been promoted following a previous resignation. I would also be remiss if I didn’t also congratulate our new Head of Operations Services, Sean who was promoted towards the beginning of the month. I also want to give my warm thanks to all those who have resigned from their command positions, you have all been instrumental in the smooth running of the department. Best of luck for all of you in your future endeavors.

Following on the subject of campaigns, Traffic Command have announced their #CrossWithCare campaign, focussing on laws 12.1 Jaywalking and 9.8 Reckless Endangerment.

"I have decided to issue Sindarin this award due to his recent contributions to our Discord Server and application processes. He has spent time helping me automate the process for applications by creating a bot to help track applications for all members of Operations Services. This makes our lives easier, and he intends to develop the bot further to improve the Discord server by implementing automatic role assigning, so thank you!"
