Hey Everyone!
I figured it would be fun to have a discussion on what vehicle design is better at speeding and for speeding.
Also, this will give us a chance to speak on the advantages and disadvantages of each.
My Personal View:
As a motorcycle and car owner all of which were built for racing, and after working on numerous motorcycles and cars over the years, I would have to say that motorcycles are much better at racing than cars.
In essence, a motorcycle and a car are the same things: vehicles with engines.
The difference is literally in the frame.
The car is much bulkier but guarded and the bike is much more light but exposed.
The only difference here is that one is built to preserve the driver at the cost of performance so I think the answer is simple.
The bike doesn't sacrifice performance at the fear of the rider.
There is also the subject of speeding on public roads as both these vehicle types are sold to the public in all of the USA from age 16.
I would have to say that the motorcycle is definitely safer to the public when the operator is speeding excessively and lets say, makes a cataclysmic mistake. As opposed to the car which would create a lot more carnage with it massive size and weight, the driver of the car has more of a chance at surviving but more of a chance of endangering and gravely injuring others in the process. The motorcycle is the more honorable choice. If you are going to put your life in danger, don't bring others down with you with your big metal bubble.
Be a man and take the responsibility yourself.
