While looking for a 1440p monitor I stumbled across the Dell S2721DGF 27". It does feel a little too premium as I only have a 1060 but the plan is to keep the monitor for quite a few years since I don't imagine myself needing 4k anytime soon.
Has anyone had (or heard) any bad experiences with it or would choose another monitor over it?

Please stay away from AOC, they have terrible ghosting with their overdrive and there is almost no way to reduce it

particularly this model which I have AOC CQ32G1 31,5 Inch QHD

what are you gonna need a 4k monitor for?

1440p only actually noticeable when text is displayed not really in games, except from shit you'd use anti-aliasing for. 1060 sucks for 1440p, cant play shit unless its old or esports title without lowering graphics significantly.

Wouldn't bother getting a 1440p unless you plan on upgrading your GPU soon (impossible)

Would avoid samsung anyway

my advice would be to always go with a brand that is known for making excellent screens like LG. Same advice for headphones, keyboards, etc
