Description:
Make the newspaper relevant automatically.
The newspaper should have the following sections:
Obituaries:
- Gives the names of players who have recently died. A name should appear in the obituaries when:
- A dead person is DNA scanned.
- A dead body is removed
- A dead body despawns
This will help players know if someone who they're out to kill has already died, so we don't end up with the whole "Why'd you kill me? I already died bro!" situation.
Adverts and broadcasts:
Newspapers will print the last 10 PBCs, adverts and mayoral broadcasts.
Organisation leader board (when org update happens):
The newspaper should house the org leader board.
Possibility of a new news reporter job:
To accommodate this update and make it better, a news reporter job could be added where a person is given access to a "News van" and can edit at least 2 text boxes with news. There should be a new phone number so people can text news and call the news to give them news to report on.
Pros:
- New job pog
- Newspapers wont just be for cocaine.
- MILES better than the failed attempt to relaunch paralake news.
Cons:
- Newspaper adverts section being filled with spam.
- Showing adverts might only be useful for seeing adverts that were said whilst you were not on the server.
