Main Idea:
Having an Optional Job as being a Journalist/allowing Civilians of all kind whether your doing drugs or not; to become a journalist.
Full description of the idea:
The point of the job, is to give players something to do when they are growing, as it can get very boring while powergrowing. This idea is to give players the access to the 'Newspaper' item. The Player takes pictures with his 'Camera' of a crime scene, Organisation post, drug bust, dead police officers, criminals being arrested etc, basically all things IC Related. Then, once the player has taken his photos and evidence, he must go to the store and buy a 'Empty Newspaper'. Once he has bought it and opened the newspaper, he is given a empty page with a newspaper layout, with specific areas to write words for the article, and many places to upload your screenshots for the article. Once he finishes writing, the player hits submit and the article he has written goes to a staff member in a report-like theme, the staff member reads through the newspaper to check that everything is IC Related/Non Mingy/Non Repetitive/Hasn't been said before. If the article has OOC Related items, the Newspaper Is Denied, and will not be paid any money, but if it's clean, with good IC Related themes, the Staff Member rewards the player an amount up to 10-40k depending on how good it is. The article that the player made goes into the 'Public Newspaper' as a singular page of items, letting other players keep making their own article, and being paid, as well as it going into the public newspaper as a singular page! The Staff Member in my opinion should not have to pay for expenses such as the player being rewarded, it should come from an outside source that only the Staff Member can access.
Why should it be added?:
Instead of a crime scene being the same thing, it actually brings excitement, and brings a competition of who can get the best scoop of the story first. This bringing the cops to push away the paparazzi, and brings more immersion into the city. It's fun, and gives something to do in spare time, and is another good thing that will keep players coming back!
Pros:
1. The Police Barricades will be used more as well as force to keep Paparazzi Away.
2. Gives something to do in free time, and brings excitement to the whole community
3. Would fill other players on the latest news on what is happening in Paralake, ex. ORG Shutdowns/Drug Busts/Crazy man jumps off building.
4. Will always encourage players to witness a crime scene AFTER it has finished.
Cons:
1. Alot of work for Staff to monitor the Newspapers
2. Will take a while to code
