Paralake News
Paralake loses a hero.
On 18th December, local war veteran Thomas George was killed on the line of duty as an officer of the law. To the average citizen, Thomas George was the local officer who liked to keep people in order, he was involved in numerous raids against the city's criminals, and would often pick up litter. He was killed yesterday by a crazed gun man in the city. Allegedly, his last words in the radio were "Oh God, please!" before he was fatally wounded by an automatic rifle. "Thomas was a kind hearted man, always joking around, trying to keep up the moral in the police force" one officer who wanted to remain anonymous told us.
Many do not know Thomas' back story at all, very little was known about him at the time, luckily we are able to uncover the true story behind Officer George.
Born in Dorset in 1979, Thomas grew up in the area and attended the local schools in Paralake, he was an ace at the Paralake shooting club and played for the local football team. At age 18, he joined the Paralake Guard. He completed his training at the local town of Broadlake in 1998, quickly finding himself in the HECU Division. Suddenly in 1999, the Evo City and Downtown Assault forces invaded Paralake. The city was in an awful state, a massive battle erupted on the highway. George at the time was ordered to evacuate wounded personnel. During the battle of Paralake, he received a shrapnel wound to the knee.
After the battle, Thomas was in a field hospital for a few days to recover, afterwards he received a purple heart. After the war in 2003, Thomas was promoted to MSgt, and finally retired in 2007 for his wife and family. In October of 2014, he signed up to the police force.
His wife has allowed us to show the public Thomas George's photography book.
