Topic:
Background Noises when calling with a phone.

Short explanation:

When you call with a phone, the other side can hear LOUD noises at the background.

Long explanation:

When you are calling with a friend, which is for example at Subway waiting for a train, you can hear what happens in the background.
So when for example, your friend gets mugged, with 2 men shouting 'GET DOWN ON THE FLOOR', you would be able to hear that.

Other additions:
You should only be able to hear LOUD noises, so people shouting or someone real close to you talking.
This is there in real as well.
For chat mugging, if someone yells, there could be a voice saying it or you can see it in your own chat with a prefix like [PHONE].

So now we have
1- Screaming kids
2- Cops shouting
3- Sirens
4- people talking on the phone
5- people having normal conversations
6- people making stupid fucking noises
7- car horns
8- stupidly loud radio's from cars
9- stupidly loud doors that are heard across the map

and you still want to add more annoying noises, jesus this is getting bad.

It only should be from a very close distance like 1.5 meters, since that's what an actual phone microphone would pick up as well.

You want this? simple, don't use any headset at all and only use the mic and put it riiiiight next to the speaker (be sure not to enable voice_loopback 1 or any kind of program that echoes you whenever you speak, or others will be greeted with a loud screeching noise)

Not really needed, unnecessary work that is just a waste of time.

Just another one of those things that is a lot of work for little gain.
There is enough for the devs to be working on at the moment.

So I can only say the same as Alex. For example, you walk along the street in the city, your buddy calls you and you pick up the phon when suddenly 2 milion police cars pass by with lights and sirens because the bank is being robbed. Neither you or your buddy can understand a shit. Your example of hearing when someone is being mugged is just negativly affecting the muggers(s') roleplay as when you rekognises the backrond noises and add them up to a location, it ain't looking too good for the mugger(s). So this whole backround noise transmission might make it more realistic but think of today, the smartphones most of use have, have improved microphones which hardly pick up backround noises exept sirens or when someone is screaming in your mic. For roleplay reasons this feature would only have negative effects for other partys and this is why I - Support this idea.
