Wouldn't it be lovely to grow and play CS:GO at the same time? Well, I was looking for a few startup commands for GMod and I found this little trick to play both at the same time.
Right click CS:GO in your steam Library, and hit 'properties', after that head over to 'set launch options' and then type in -textmode.
Now, the most important bit is you start CS:GO before you start GMod and make sure it's fully loaded and on the main menu before opening GMod. Both should open without error and you can even play competitive games whilst growing on PERP.
I experienced a few errors when I was in full-screen mode of GMod, however you can easily fix this by putting it in borderless windowed:
If you experience lag, it's probably due to your PC specs however I myself haven't suffered any FPS drops at all.
