Not really useful. I can see only 2 good codes - 10-4 and 10-19 are useful. But what's the point of using complicated codes instead of plain language? Just to sound cool? But to sound cool, you have to spend hours learning them. They were useful between 1930 and 1970 but now?

Why should I say "What's your 10-20" instead of "Where are you?" or "10-20 beach" instead of "I'm at the beach"?

How they could be used:
"This is officer Fox, 10-97" for "This is officer Fox, I'm at scene",
"10-80 at Glass Co" for "Explosion at Glass Co"
"10-71 at bazaar" for "Shooting at bazaar",
"10-53 at car dealer" for "Man down at car dealer",
"10-54 at underpass" for "Possible dead body at under pass"
"10-56A at city hall" for "Suicide attempt at city hall"
"10-29V white Bugatti Veyron" for "APB on white Bugatti Veyron"
"10-22 pursuit, suspect crashed" instead of "Disregard pursuit, suspect crashed" or even "Code 4 on that pursuit"

There's no code for the most useful thing you can "code" while near other civilians - backup needed.
It's the only thing which would be really useful other than the common 10-4.

So why should they be used? Hardly anybody knows them (especially because we're getting many new players) and secondly - what are the good points of using them besides sounding cool?
I mean, you do sound cool when you're using them, but your colleagues may not help you because they don't know them, so why use them at all?
