Project Reality is a first person tactical and strategic game where teamwork is a must and aims to emulate a modern warfare environment within the quite dated Battlefield 2 engine. It features squad and commander systems which allows them both to utilise the map to place markers or way points.
The game features local chat as well as squad chat. As leader of a squad, you are able to communicate to other squads by using your numb pad. Each number on the pad represents the squad which you'd like to communicate to (e.g squad 1 would be numb pad 1 etc.).
The game also features modern factions such as many NATO factions including the UK, USA, Germany, The Netherlands and France to name a few, along with other factions such as Russia, China or the fictional Middle East Collation to represent the modern Arab nations. They also feature some guerilla or insurgent factions such as The Taliban, Hamas, Free Syrian Army and others.
The game also features some Vietnam maps which sets you in the boots of an American G.I. or an NVG irregular fighter in the jungles of 'Nam.
