Suggestion Title: Rebalance Audio Levels for Weapons
Suggestion Description: As it's been known, some firearms are noticeably louder than others. The AK-101 is a prime example of an annoyingly loud weapon.
Why should this be added?:
- Reduced fatigue in shootouts/long play sessions.
- Players wouldn't need to manually modify the audio levels of weapons to achieve a comfortable volume, and potentially break the rules in the process.
What negatives could this have?:
None that I could think of.
What problem would this suggestion solve?: Over the years, many games and series' have shifted from treble-heavy sound profiles to more balanced, bassy-neutral sound profiles. This likely changed because loud, high-frequency sounds are known to cause fatigue, and over time potential hearing damage and tinnitus.
Not to say that the current weapon sounds require an overhaul; simply that this is a real problem in many games. For that reason, I believe the current weapon sounds are overdue for an audio rebalance.
