Description of the idea:
Remove the need to vote for most new laws on Paralake city councils website unless the law is something huge that would change the course of the servers RP environment.
The only things that should be voted on are:
- Changing of speed limits
- Changing of offensive weapon ownership laws
- Changing of other major laws that would criminalise or decriminalise previously legal / illegal actions.
Its worth mentioning that several issues arise with this vote system:
1: The majority of people don’t care
2: People often vote no solely because they only play as a criminal and adding more laws disbenefits them.
3: Good law suggestions that make logical sense wound up denied from this system for reasons listed under 1 and 2.
Why should this be added? (pros):
- Makes sense as the community is now detached from PERP lore
- Allows PROGRESS
What negatives could this have? (cons):
