Rule Changes - 15/11/2024

Hello,

We have discussed at a community management level regarding our stance on crosshairs at length and it has been decided that we will update our rules to reflect community wishes and hardware changes. You may be aware that modern computer monitors offer the ability to change your crosshair, and that these crosshairs would not appear on screen captures. We have maintained a no-crosshair stance for a long time however it's now at the point where players with modern monitors that offer these settings will get an unfair advantage over the other monitor users as they aren't able to be detected, whereas those using software were being detected. This has now been resolved in the below rule change.

6.2 Third-Party Tools
The use of any third-party software, macros, scripts, or content that provides an advantage over other players is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. The only exceptions are third-party crosshairs and custom weapon textures, provided the textures are installed in the phcustomtextures folder. You can learn more about this by referring to this resource.

Thank you,
Tyla Jai

Will the bans handed out to the once breaching this rule in the past still be accountable?
