Rule Changes - 15/11/2024
Hello,
We have discussed at a community management level regarding our stance on crosshairs at length and it has been decided that we will update our rules to reflect community wishes and hardware changes. You may be aware that modern computer monitors offer the ability to change your crosshair, and that these crosshairs would not appear on screen captures. We have maintained a no-crosshair stance for a long time however it's now at the point where players with modern monitors that offer these settings will get an unfair advantage over the other monitor users as they aren't able to be detected, whereas those using software were being detected. This has now been resolved in the below rule change.
Thank you,
Tyla Jai
It's not, this is real. You are now going to get cross mapped by SW500's from regals to bank without aiming. Have funIt isn't April fools yet?
The software you're using needs to be solely for crosshairs, if it's a cheating software but has all options disabled except crosshair then we will still ban youAre there any caveats to this?
Are there any additional things we should keep in mind?
I think it's less that the community wants it, more that we know that people have been using these things, but there's no real fair way to stop them.I know its just about impossible to detect monitor crosshair users but I don't think this is the right step. But if that's what the community wants so be it.
I think it was a good deterrence when you catched some people slacking in their screenshots or videos.I think it's less that the community wants it, more that we know that people have been using these things, but there's no real fair way to stop them.
I think you're missing the point brother, monitor crosshairs don't show up period. Which means 90% of the people playing perp with a sub 250 dollar gaming monitor "like myself" could be using one making it literally impossible to control.I think it was a good deterrence when you catched some people slacking in their screenshots or videos.
But we all know they're everywhere so I guess it doesn't matter.
Yes, I believe I did just say that it doesn't matter that the rule is gone now.I think you're missing the point brother, monitor crosshairs don't show up period. Which means 90% of the people playing perp with a sub 250 dollar gaming monitor "like myself" could be using one making it literally impossible to control.
