Suggestion Topic: 2.1 Play Realistically
Suggestion Description: Make it so bank raiders cannot molly the vault entrance.

Why should this be added?:
- A lot of bank raiders just molly the vault room staircase now to prevent cops from entering; this is wrong in so many ways. They are putting their life at risk; it's an unrealistic action. The chances the fire spreads to them and kills them are very likely.

This could fall under 3.3 or 3.4 too.

What negatives could this have?:
- None that I can think of

It could be argued that if you know you're going to escape through the vents then you're not at much risk from the fire since you know you won't be crossing its path. Given the upsides and this considered escape route, I don't see how it would be 3.4. If the fire starts to spread too fast and they have to escape before collecting all of the money then that's their fault.

You're robbing the place, why do you care if it burns down? Since it's a public building, it wouldn't be excessively negative either.

Personally, this is justified from a roleplay perspective. The discussion of whether or not this should be allowed should be focused on balance (which I know a lot less about.)

I dont know, a lot of people though this was not ideal in terms of roleplay so I just wanted to make a suggestion. You have your points too of course.

I think bank raiders should be able to use Molotovs at the entrance. It’s not necessarily an advantage for them, because the cops can just camp the vent anyway. I don’t really understand this restriction—after all, a bank raid should be a full-on raid with all combat tools, including grenades and Molotovs.

Fire doesn't spread on concrete. It is arguably harder for robbers to win without headglitching on the Bank Vault staircase, so there's no harm in letting them molotov the back door.

Exactly, you are in a closed space when you throw that molly inside the vault staircase. The smoke will directly come into you and make pass put instantly.

See the solution here is just to allow cops to spawn gas cans and use the molotov fires to ignite them.

People will stop that shit real quick if it means gas cans clearing the vault.
