Suggestion Topic: 3.4 Putting your Life at Risk
Suggestion Description: Rule 3.4 needs to be restructured or removed. As it currently stands, it doesn't function as a clear rule at all. It reads more like a vague risk assessment than an enforceable guideline. Even when a situation presents minimal risk, players can still be banned, which makes the rule feel arbitrary.

Right now, the rule is too ambiguous and open to interpretation, effectively turning enforcement into a matter of luck—dependent on which admin handles the case and how they personally assess the "risk."

Why should this be added?:
For example, under the current wording, a moderator could reasonably justify banning someone for simply entering the forest with no clear reason. Since the forest is considered a "mug zone," just being there without a specific goal could be seen as taking an unnecessary risk, and thus a violation of Rule 3.4 even if the player did nothing wrong.

What negatives could this have?:
This kind of uncertainty is unfair to players and puts too much subjective power in the hands of staff. The rule either needs to be clearly defined with specific, objective criteria or removed entirely.

How is getting mugged putting your life at risk? If you comply you survive? If you don't without means to protect yourself, you get killed, therefore not preserving your life and breaking 3.4

It's pretty clear already

-9 Downvotes is actually astronomically crazy, but nah. If 3.4 Was removed, 2-5 would also pretty much cease to exist in some cases, this will just lead to the complete removal of actual RP and turn the server into a full on Cops vs Crim server. Which we do NOT want..

The second 3.4 gets removed, perpheads as a community will collapse. Because the only thing separating perp from other roleplay servers is how well developed, well written and well understood rules that all servers need but don't have. Perp stands out because it served its community since 2013, I mean for crying out loud have you seen another server make its own map?

a lot of previous and current servers have done this or made edited variants to suit their needs
Idk, I only played one server other than perp and became mod in it, but then quit, but I don't think a lot of servers come close to how good perp is. Not even monolith.
