Description of the idea:
Rebalancing sawed off shotguns, such as the sawed off double barrel and the R870 short by tightening the spread of the firearms to almost match their full size counter parts but with still noticeably more spread than the full size variants. The recoil of these weapons should also be at least 75%-twice as strong as the existing stocked and longer barrelled variants due to the abscence of a stock and the offset weight of the firearms.
Currently, the sawed off shotguns have very low recoil, however, are still ineffective beyond 6 feet.
Why should this be added? (pros):
- Sawed off shotguns are more viable
- Remington 870 short being restored to its pre shotgun marks nerf glory
- Would be usable with skill as opposed to being a luck / circumstantially effective weapon.
What negatives could this have? (cons):
- None really other than sawed off could be seen as a form of meta?
