This is exactly why the thread exists, we want to see if people prefer this system or having to spam enter.
The queue is advantageous for new players and people who are too lazy to keep spamming connect, but it might be less so for people who are already used to spam connecting.

After testing the new queue system for 10 mins and being stuck to the same position this is not a good update, remove the queue system spamming enter is much better and much faster.

Perp players like gambling, joining a queue is not gambling, therefore not good update.

There are still some bugs with system, the entire concept is still highly experimental but we will fix all the bugs.

I like the queue but definently bring back the queue server. Sitting at a screen is boring, doing things randomly (even free for all 24/7 gun game/etc) to pass the time would be great.

So many people asking to bring back the queue server but everything I have read here, in game, and the discord say that it's not even possible since 2023 or so, removed the functionality of such as a whole from Gmod.

The queue server will not work nicely with new players, who we also want to give the chance of connecting

It's still possible but not as nicely. Now you would have to confirm that you want to connect to the different server, which kinda ruins it.

What if the queue is long and people go afk as its no fun watching a loading screen, they get into the server but remain afk blocking out active players who would be on the server with the old spam enter method?
