Steam inbuilt FPS counter

Steam now has an inbuilt FPS counter which shows a wide range of information, pretty useful actually.

Go to Steam > Settings > Ingame and scroll about halfway down to enable it.

was this not common knowledge regardless ye this is quite useful I was playing far cry blood dragon earlier and I could see a rough estimate of fps

Considering it was released on the first of this month, no it's not common knowledge yet

Im pretty sure theres already a steam fps counter I have been using it since february before steelo recommended the gmod one however regardless of my inappropriate output in the thread this is effective regardless

The FPS counter itself has been around for ages, but not sure if they’ve changed it recently so you can display more info?

The FPS counter has been around for years, they recently expanded upon it to show more in depth stuff instead of just FPS
