Tactical Firearms Operation:
Operation Turnover.
As some of you are aware, our annual fireworks displays will come along tonight as per tradition. Unfortunately, festivities don’t automatically guarantee safety.
Prevention and safety are 2 of our core principals. As such, it is our duty to ensure that this wonderful festival is protected by the most qualified division to do so.
The Tactical Firearms Unit will be putting on heavy TFU gear to perform full security sweeps of the Farm Fields area. The operation will commence as such:
- Tactical Firearms Officers will arrive at the farm fields no less than 15 minutes prior to the event.
- We will guarantee to have a marksman set up for the duration of the event.
- A full security sweep of the barn, farm fields, and the corresponding tree lines will be performed.
Tactical Firearms Officers will be leading the security sweep however officers of all divisions may partake in assisting in ensuring the safety of all who wish to see the fireworks displays.
