Suggestion Title: Taxi driver NPC jobs
Suggestion Description: Similar to how Courier gets NPC jobs already.
Taxi drivers would get a text of a street and location that they need to pick up a customer; drive there and then park in a designated spot in front of the standing NPC.
Upon the NPC entering, the Taxi becomes occupied and the player just drives to the designated drop off he is texted.
Both pick up and drop off are “marked,” to go to on GPS, meaning there would be an arrow at the top like a mission’s app mission aiming towards the drop off imitating a GPS navigator to help newer players to the pick up and drop off.
Why should this be added?:
- help players enjoy playing passive rp jobs during dead hours
- help new players learn the road names and the map by playing the game as taxi at any time of day.
- simple but good use of NPCs that isn’t disruptive to the gameplay loop.
- Grinding taxi xp is less tedious because you don’t have to do the waiting game and convincing someone to take your service, this is especially helpful to new players to have a better experience.
What negatives could this have?:
- Player to Player pickups might happen less now because Taxi drivers don’t rely on only players to make their income.
What problem would this suggestion solve?: Using the fix made for Courier, with taxi driving, to make the job enjoyable at all times of day. Furthermore to turn it from a slow job into an engaging job for all players, where players have something to do constantly.
