Paralake Home Guard

__________________________________________________________________________
The Paralake Home Guard, much unlike any regular Home Guard, is located right in the middle of Paralake City, where also the majority of operations occur. Due to the rising criminal activity, which spikes above even Detroit, Paralake City has been acknowledged as a belligerent 'nation' by international law. Because of this, it has been decided to send in a stronger force to fight against the criminal acts, which often include attacks on the Police Department, bombings, frequent murders and daily bank robberies.
The Paralake Home Guard consists of one platoon, with up to 42 members in total. Joining the Home Guard is entirely voluntary, and members will not be paid. However, basic expenses for food, water and transport will be covered.
The Home Guard is hoping to be in close communication with the Paralake Police Department, and are looking forward for their cooperation.
__________________________________________________________________________
The Home Guard is located on two places in Paralake City. The first one, which is mainly where civilians may sign up for the Home Guard, is the Paralake Police Department. If a civilian wishes to join the Home Guard, they are to request the Platoon Leader or the Platoon Sergeant. Either one will be located at the PD, while the other will be at the main headquarters.
The main headquarters for the Home Guard is located at the Farm. While using it at headquarters, the growing of crops continues in order to supply the Home Guard with an income besides government funding.
The rough ground of the farm is also used during training, as the Home Guard, just like the military, is expected to be able to get through rough terrain. This includes dirt, swamps, and mud. The hill behind the farm is also utilized for training, as it requires strength and stamina to climb the entire thing, while simultaneously carrying a heavy backpack and a firearm.

In order to join a specialist squad, the applicant has to display that they are fit for the squad. I.e., an explosives specialist has to display their ability to put together, arm, and detonate explosives, while also capable of defusing/disarming a bomb. (Dud, of course. We wouldn't want to bring lives in danger by watching them disarm a live bomb)

Greetings, 'Burka Lady'

Due to the unfortunate fact that your 'organization' is involved in criminal activities, of which you've also decided to publicly share, the Home Guard has no interested in any sort of alliance. Not to mention that the Home Guard doesn't make alliances, unless you count the 'alliance' between the Home Guard and the Paralake Police Department.
We do hope that we won't be deployed to respond to crimes committed by your organization, but I have high hopes that you will eventually halt your criminal activities, and become fully functional members of the public.

With best regards,
Platoon Leader Nikolai Delaney

Good day, Mr. Delaney. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jake Hudson, CEO of Merryweather Security, a security company and "private army" here in Paralake. My organisation offers Ammo, Weaponry and Equipment for a cheap price, for those who need it, and with 42 members in your platoon, I'm sure you would need some of that.
We offer you our services, and we hope you accept our offer.

The majority of my spare time is spent with the Danish Army Home Guard as volunteer soldier. I finished basic training (LPU 1-4) through BOOTCAMP at Skive barracks back in 2014. My level of activity within the Danish Army Home Guard is definitely above average. My current rank is private (PVT) and my posistion is medic (not fully educated yet). My activities as volunteer first aider in the Danish Red Cross provides me with the knowledge I need to temporarily uphold the position as medic.

If you have any questions regarding the Danish Army Home Guard (Home Guard in general) feel free to contact me.

I might join this organization at a later point! It's creative and it would definitely benefit the server. It looks well-organized.

Regards, PVT Prepper

Hello, Jake Hudson

While we are in need of both firearms, ammunition and miscellaneous equipment, we do not wish to associate ourselves with what you say is a 'private army'. We are more or less covered in the ammunition and firearm department, as the majority of volunteers (including myself) are fully capable of personally hand-crafting those things. Not to mention, most members already have firearms A vast majority of our equipment is also government issued, and so is a portion of our firearms and ammunition. As far as I am aware, the Home Guard is fully covered.
All I can say, is that I hope we don't end up on the end of each other's gun barrel during either your or our operations.

Best regards,
Nikolai Delaney

Welcome
To all new members of the PLHG
In the last couple of days, the number of volunteers have grown. As such, it's evident that Paralake City is interested in the Home Guard, at least a bit.
Therefore, I first wish to welcome and thank the new members for joining the home guard. The majority show great potential, and Paralake already feels a bit safer.

Recently, the PLHG was contacted by a lieutenant. PLPD Lieutenant Josh Morrison came in contact with the PLHG regarding cooperation between the PLHG and PLPD. Several things were discussed during a meeting, which we don't plan to disclose at the moment. We hope that Josh Morrison will do as promised, and try to make the many other future lieutenants join in on the deal.

Meanwhile, we're still in need of more volunteers. The squads are still rather empty, and we'd like to have them full as soon as possible.
So, if you have any interest in the home guard, and which to volunteer, simply fill out this form.

Volunteer for the Paralake Home Guard today, and make Paralake a safer place.
