Notice SOME of these things has ALREADY been addressed by @exrobite and although I'm aiming to address different issues, as to not go over the same things over and over again I can't fuly avoid it, due to the fact that these issues really has to be solved..
So.. I've really been contemplating it a lot, and I really didn't wanna make this but here it is..

Throughout the months I have been back, and to be honest it's been like this since I came back from my permban last year, but it's become drastically worse the further we get and the newer officers/supervisors/command members we actually get. Throughout the months, I have realised a drastic and problematic behaviour and repeated issues rising within the PD that I feel needs to be properly addressed, rather than "Oh this server is just cop vs robbers! Cops have this! Cops do this! Crims doesn't make it better for PD!" this isn't a server complaint post but a concern specifically on how PD is handled. Let's start with the list below;

Supervisor Laziness
The PD has for a long while had issues with when people reaches certain ranks, they get requirements such as being required to write 2 ORs a month when you're a Corporal or a Sergeant which honestly is NOT a lot to ask for, I understand if you have a job, and even being staff it can be hard to reach the deadlines but it's 40 minutes a month is all they ask ATLEAST. A lot of supervisors DO get on, but can't be bothered to do their OR's and then they are seen asking for people to take OR's from them ONLY at the very end of the month because they didn't feel like wanting to reach their deadline.

Not to speak too much about OR's, lately I have seen struggles with officers requesting warrants on people who commited murder and so on, which supervisors just don't feel like doing cause they rather do their patrols or speak to people instead of taking 30 seconds to issue warrants, especially when needed at that very moment urgently is especially when they don't feel like it, it also counts with DNA when it's required. DNA is something that dissapears after from what I have been told 10 minutes of the person having been dead. In often cases supervisors has blatantly ignored requests for DNA cause they didn't feel like it once again. Now there ARE times where supervisors are busy and that is perfectly fine, but the PD struggles a lot with splitting resources which would help this, WHICH I'll get to in a little bit later in the post.

Supervisor Requests
I think something we are all aware off here and now is supervisor requests being used as a weapon, which has created a burnout for officers to bother doing supervisor sits, but this also becomes problematic especially when there are genuine extremely concerning reports to deal with, which needs to be sorted out urgently. Only a few days ago, somebody made a 911 call about an officer making extremely inappropriate remarks to a 12 year old kid. No supervisor cares or even paid attention to these calls, I took to the incident where the officer immediately fled and the people luckily had the evidence.

I had to spend 5 minutes trying to beg supervisors to respond and even call over the phone personally to them, to no avail whilst there was 3 supervisors on duty, Why was this you ask? BECAUSE NOW EVERY SUPERVISOR SIT APPARENTLY NEEDS EVERY SUPERVISOR ON DUTY TO DEAL WITH 1 SINGLE SUPERVISOR SIT INSTEAD OF SPLITTING RESOURCES. The supervisors on duty was standing 3 guys inside the supervisor room, talking to each others to deal with 1 single officer for 1 small little incident, and after that incident they didn't really bother responding until after I had requested a supervisor multiple times with a message "Urgently" and in a really serious tone, but they just don't care nor bother because they automatically assume "Yeah this supervisor sit is bs and not worth my time" instead of actually figuring out what is going on. Supervisors SHOULD not be allowed in these positions if they can't even be bothered, this even includes command as all these incidents I'm referencing to even got command members around.
Today I was dealing with a suspect, and I was met with another officer trolling around. When the suspect stepped into my car the officer trolling didn't like that and actually started SHOOTING at my car(Keep in mind I was on duty as a cop literally myself), so I responded by stepping out of my car and shooting back at him, as he shot directly at me inside the car. The SUPERVISORS Including one of them being an LT, decided to actually judge me, and told me I was in the wrong, for shooting back at the officer. It's been so mainstream that now you should wait to see if an OFFICER who JUST shot at you, actually intend to shoot you in the face aswell before you can shoot back. Excuse me what? Now no punishment was given to me personally, but the fact supervisors actually expect you to do NOTHING is absolutely outrageous and ridicouless.

Splitting Resources
One thing that is very common to see on this forum, is people complaining(Specifically PD) that crim mains are very difficult for PD to deal with, which yes they ARE HOWEVER, if PD actually played smart this would quite literally not be an issue. Throughout these past couple of days, it's been easy to notice officers SPECIALLY TFU pick and chose who they bother to help and where they feel like going.
Only YESTERDAY I was dealing with an active shootout, we got an officer reporting a raid at lakeview and his life alert shortly after. Shortly after a 911 call was made to Subs 3(?) aswell of a potential raid. Whilst I responded to lakeview with ONE other officer, we stood for 3-4 minutes begging for help, with every single police officer at Subs(3-4 being TFU officers) and when they finished there did they help us? No they were arguing if they had seen drugs so they could proceed to breach the property drugs. ONLY THEN did they decide "Oh hey, maybe we should help these officers at lakeview", when I then commented on it over the radio when they asked if we still needed help and I started "Yes, We've been waiting for TFU the entire time" we were met with attitude as if it was our fault that they didn't wanna split resources when they had finally finished Subs.
How to fix this problem? If a property is done, even if there's thoughts of drugs, considering there was already other supervisors and TFU including bunch of officers, they could have send all the TFU and then let 1 stay at Subs with the other officers to breach for the drugs, and let the other TFU step on down and help, but they decided that wasn't really important they just wanted to be hugging the TFU position.

Communication
Now comes a "fun" one. Communication has always been a problem in PD but today it's at an all time low. Everyday especially at peak there's either TOO much chatter over the radio or none at all, only being a balance with dispatch on, whether people wanna admit it or not. There is Command members and even Supervisors who fail and actually suck to communicate or even listen to radio even more than a freshly baked new player cop. They simply mute their radio and just drive around minding themselves, even when there's no chatter over the radio at all(Relevant because they don't mute due to radio chaos, they just cba), or they just don't feel like communicating or even assisting when you ask for backup.
Plenty of times I have been on duty where NOTHING is happening, then when there's a mugging, raid or a simple car pursuit officers go around trolling and minging around social areas without bothering to assist or help in ANY way, or they simply ignore the radio. With all these issues there is literally no hope to fix anything or change anything. Please just take a read and a look and think over at the very least SOME of the things, as these are genuine problems that shouldn't be as huge as they are.

TL;DR Below(Which I got ChatGPT to make for me, just to make it easier to understand than my shit grammar above);
The post argues that the Police Department's biggest problems are internal leadership and organization rather than criminals. It claims supervisors are often lazy, ignore warrants and DNA requests, misuse supervisor sits, fail to respond to serious incidents, make questionable decisions, refuse to split resources during emergencies, and communicate poorly. The result is officer burnout, slower responses, and a department that performs far below its potential despite having enough personnel. The author believes these issues need to be addressed through better leadership, accountability, and coordination instead of blaming the server's "cops vs. robbers" dynamic.

With that being said, thank you for reading my long ass rant, it's been a long time coming and I've been dreading it because I generally hate these kinds of posts, I think they are unproductive but I needed to get it out for once. I'm sure there's bad grammar too, so I'm sorry in advance.

Hey jack the OR's are being looked into by patrol command @miss piggy @kerzify @Aquaa are doing things regarding OR's and learning within the PD, it is an option for new and older players that want ors, People are in there such as viper headline (Although if you want headline ur mental ;) ) and others people just need to make a helpdesk ticket (Honestly I not reading the rest my brain is not cabable rn of it)

OR's isn't a really bad issue regarding this post tbh, it's not that hard atleast from my experience tbh. It's more supervisor duties etc.

Just addressing this part as thats all i can be bothered to read

Respectfully theres other places to rant it would be sick if you gave actual solutions like yeah bro this is the 50th post we've seen with the same repeated complaints why not use one of them.

TLDR to not waste time; 50th complaint rant post with no solution or reasonable answer just complaining to complain (respectfully)

There is a solution in there, and there's only 1. If you don't wanna be a supervisor, resign. Command should start actually stepping down on people who's supervisors because they want the role, not because they want to do their job.

The solution for supervisors not taking supervisor sits because they assume stuff is also fairly simple, stop assuming stuff. It's pretty simple things I'm pointing out with simple solutions I shouldn't have to state. My main concerns have however not been about OR's and so on, it's how Supervisor Sits is being handled and the lack of communication. The solution to lack of communication is communicating more, I shouldn't have to state "Well you don't communicate, so communicate" if I make a post about not communicating then that is pretty obviously the solution and that's to communicate.

With that being said, I'm sorry for not being a little more specific, it's more about concerns on how officers fail to split resources which I WOULD love to see better changes on policy regard, particularily about TFU. But that's probably more so wishful thinking.

Very insightful Jacky, I do feel as though PD is a second org for some people as they only cruise with their friends, only get on duty to be with their pals etc. Which whilst yes its just how people are gonna be, it sucks for lower ranked officers. I myself have done this when I cba to write OR or have to explain pd to newer officers, however I have also had some of the most fun patrols with newer officers as they haven't fallen into the pd drone mindset yet. Overall as with most posts complaining about the server, its the mindset of the player base thats at fault, and that isnt something easy to fix

Doing ORs is cancer. Maybe make them less of a pain, because now that I've got command, I'm legit never doing one again. I've already got too much other stuff to deal with to spend ages doing ORs. I don't mind putting a good word on your CPL or SGT, but fuck ORs.

What does people being command do with this? Also what policy changes does this consist of would be a bit better if you could be a bit more descriptive and not expect people to just immediately find out.

Yeah but again, tbh OR's is actually fairly minor to the point of this thread. I just brought it up because of the relevancy of the duties of supervisors, and there are supervisors who straight up refuse and just really will do everything to avoid OR's at ANY point and time, no matter what. Also practically never play as a cop where as that point, why even being still here? Why holding a Sergeant position if you wont utilize it?

But I understand the burnout and annoyance people get sometimes aswell.

Don't feel like you read my post. Command fail drastically on assisting with supervisor sits as much as Sergeants do, and even communicating which is weird considering command is supposed to be the best of PD, yet fail to communicate properly or listen over the radio. They also care just as little about supervisor sit as any other supervisor.

I have also made it clear I completely understand the burnout and annoyance, because a LOT of supervisor sits IS simply used to waste time and as weapons. But this has made it so every assumes it's a bs sit and just don't wanna deal with it, I've already posted a couple super concerning in the post itself which supervisors should absolutely have reacted to where they were plenty staffed and nothing was going on yet they automatically assumed and choose to directly ignore calls and pleads for urgent assistance.

Being in the TFU division means I have to deal with so much shit. I'm constantly running sessions, dealing with marking disputes, inducting new trainers, inducting new command members, attending TFU meetings, and handling so much other stuff. I really don't want to have to deal with ORs and supervisor sits on top of all that.

Tbh, I'm gonna remove the point with OR's. I don't believe it's that major of an issue was just relevant to the point of supervisors despite being a super minor point of the post.

I think it's important people react when there's cops shooting each others, or a cop talking about adult stuff to a 12 year old? Idk maybe I'm overreacting but I feel like that should trump anything else, specifically the latter part.

Please make actual reports if these things happen… rulebreaks are still dealt with by staff.

What are these weird things? If a command member sees that they're gonna take action what type of example is this??

What the peak said TFU command does many stuff to then have to do OR's would be excessive each command do different things

Which was then, but until then I also requested a supervisor. I can't wait everytime until a staff member feels the need to deal with it, especially when theres a high volume of reports with low staff, and I think stopping them to as many ways as possible matters.

Read the post. I had to beg for 10 minutes before ANY supervisor or command member bothered to even listen, if you don't even bother reading the post. Please don't respond respectfully. Cause you will respond to things that you didn't even read.

  • What?
Reactions: MJ.
I suggest addressing these issues with the chiefs rather than posting them to the entire forums. That way, you can also provide proof and the names of supervisors who are actively ignoring their duties.

ORs are already monitored on a monthly basis, and supervisors are being demoted for failing to reach the requirements.

Gather the evidence and follow the system that’s already in place instead of making yet another “PD BAD” post.
