I currently own a Mini Countryman F60 S E from 2018. Haven't had any issues with it so far, and my last car was a Mini Countryman R60 from 2013. No issues there either. Maybe I am lucky or maybe people with the bad minis are unlucky. I think they look amazing, and the build quality isn't as bad as I expected myself. And they say that they drive like a go kart, which honestly is very true. They drive amazing. For the newer models, I don't like how most of the actual buttons have disappeared into a screen. I like having normal buttons, it looks much cleaner in my opinion.

I mean, I am not going to recommend which model or year you should get. Its up to you in the end. I just wanted to mention that I had no issues personally and I think a lot of comments on this thread are based on online information, or people who got a mini but just ended up not liking it and/or using it themselves. Keep in mind that Mini's are quite expensive for what you get though.

Yeah, I am aware. I mean, there's still a lot of time till I get the license, so I'm thinking I can save the required money for it. There are not many other options like minis, so the price is like that, I guess. Thanks again, Lucius!

The mini Cooper 1965 is honestly amazing, it's insanely cheap priced at only $1000. It has 4 seats a stock top speed of 30 (but you can map it up to 45). It can hold a hefty 10kg in the boot and costs only $8 per repair. The only downside of this car is there isn't many available body kits for it.
