I'm a legal gun Owner myself I can tell you this they do sound similar. and they are real life gun sounds being used in the game. They just may have a little extra reverb on them for the Sound.

theres a reason games like Tarkov have better sounding guns, and thats because they actually care about how the weapon sounds for gameplay reasons, instead of giving every person that listens to them tinnitus for the sake of "realism"
