Suggestion Title: Vin Scratching
Suggestion Description: When doing car chopping after successfully escaping with the vehicle, the driver can either deliver it at the spot for cash or take it to Veikko's and talk to the NPC or another NPC who will ask for a payment of $5,000 in cash.
When paid, the NPC will notify you to return after 5 minutes when the job is done and the car will disappear.
After 5 minutes you can manually go to him to retrieve the keys to your brand new vin scratched car or he will "mail" them to you if you fail to retrieve them within 30 minutes giving them to you automatically.
This brand new vehicle can be used by you freely and pulled out of your garage, however if you are ever ANPR'ed the vehicle will not show it as owned by anybody as the VIN is scratched. If the vehicle gets impounded at any point in time it is gone from your garage permanently and it can not be used to ticket you as you do not own it. Rather if police find it, they will be instantly able to impound it from you as it is deemed stolen.
Why should this be added?:
- New crime
- Adds more depth to the car chopping crime
- Makes the game feel more immersive by adding variety of things crims can do
- More variety for cops to respond to
- Non-shooting idea providing possibility for more roleplay with everyone involved
- High risk high reward because you can "keep" a car but it can be taken from you at any moment via impound.
- Doesn't hurt the car market as the hassle to withhold and acquire such car is tedious as described but pays off quite well if you acquire a high-end vehicle you want.
What negatives could this have?:
- Purchasing cars for yourself to own might be seen as less viable?
- Payment for the Veikko guy to vin scratch is too low?
