Punishment Type: Warning
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Wescott
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: Not Applicable

Your Steam Name: mj2067
Your Roleplay Name: Tarone Idrin
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:791941820

Why were you punished?: 3.4 - Player kidnapped someone in Bazaar in a public setting.

Why should this appeal be considered?: In this kidnapping yes the setting was public however there was no visible officers AT bazzar itself, yes there was pd however this is a uncontrollable variable and pure coincidence also rule 5.6 states Players may only be kidnapped where the benefits outweigh the risks and it is absolutely necessary, such as taking a hostage so as to substantially increase one’s chances of escaping police. Kidnapping players who are visible from outside a muggable zone so as to mug or raid them is not allowed. Rule 3.4 should be referred to when deciding whether taking a hostage is beneficial. therefore i got mugged off esentially 20-60k worth of items in my inventory when the mug was already a fail mug in the first place. Yes the location was taboo however i lost a substantial worth of items due to ones incompetency (mugger) and in a real life context i believe taking and kidnapping them when plpd wasnt even present regardless is valid and a substantial take. I will admit it wasnrisky however risking the meager amounts i had in my inventory and already having said player in sight it was valid to force withdrawal him AWAY from the cops. I would like to differ that bazzar contains more cops at said area therefore transporting him into a more covert and subtle environment would of been more suitable however the most populous place in the server is bound to have cops therefore i wouldve been gunned down within minutes of me getting my stuff back thank you for reading this however I was advised to dispute this

Additional Information: also i thought i could get my stuff back regardless if the player is on or not due to the obvious rulebreak

After reviewing the evidence provided in your dispute, it's clear that the usage of the Force Withdrawal was perfomed as it should and no real threat was present at the time that could impede you from proceeding so.
Whilst it's not smart doing it in front of such crowd, it's not against the rules either unless it's in direct eyeshot of Law Enforcement personnel.

As such, your warning has been lifted!
