Many of you would have seen @Carrot's guide on creating weapon skins, however, i know for some people this may be confusing or just alot of effort! Today i spent an hour or two creating some random skins for most of the guns and thought i would share so those who cant/wont make their own can also use some custom skins!
I will note, i have not checked alot of these skins and some might be shit, i have not put much 'effort' into these. If there are any that seem bad/or are missing skins that you would want to have a skin please reply to this thread.
So, let's get to it.
You can access the skins here
To install the skins first download the 'garrysmod' folder
You will then have a 'zip' like this
Right click on the zip and select extract all.
Once extracted you will have an 'unzipped' garrysmod folder folder
Now open your Garrys Mod root directory. To find this go to steam, right click on garrys mod, click properties, click installed files then select "browse..."
This will open your garrysmod root, which will look something like this....
Now, all you need to do is drag and drop the 'garrysmod' folder we extracted earlier into this page, be careful not to place it inside a folder! We want it to sit here.
If you already have skins installed it will give you the following message. If you want to replace the skins, select replace. If you want to keep your skins, select skip.
Once this is done, load up/restart your game and you will have some custom gun skins!
