I haven't played in a couple of months I took a break and lost interest in Gmod, How come the server has all of a sudden died?

Playercount is inconsistent as fuck due to a lot of users having IRL Responsibilities, Dwindling interest in Garrys Mod roleplay, etc.
there's currently a quarantine and children under the age of 18 are not allowed here while it's so
The old playerbase is slowly leaving, and no one new is joining.
