Should prescription medications for specific life changing conditions be advertised on cable TV

Keep seeing adverts for prescription medications where there’s 30 seconds of positive info then 2 minutes if side effects being listed, most being fatal whilst happy stock footage of people doing normal people things plays.

Why is This even a thing lol.
 
American health care is for profit, so the US gov lets big pharma advertise their chems so more buy so more taxes
Yeah I love watching adverts for erectile dysfunction pills and injection treatments for eczema between impractical jokers.
 
You can buy 100 paracetamol, its called acetaminophen in a big ass tub dude. Just buy 5 tubs and bring it back, never buy paracetamol again.

We have bought a tub of 300 Advil because we bought a tub once and it lasted us like 4+ years.

It's the same in any country that has privatised health-care because it's a business. In Poland, you constantly have creams, pills and whatever else being advertised for every pain you could imagine
