Police Suggestion Request warrant/OR function

Suggestion Title: Request warrant/OR function
Suggestion Description: Basically allow any ranking officer (or SO+ so it cant be abused) to add a type of remark on the persons profile that would pop up on the “warranted” list. It could have a format such as a “Reason: \ Evidence: \ Additional info:” so it could be easier for sgts/dispatchers to set up warrants. Could even make its own section such as “requests” where you can also add OR requests (im basically talking about another tab on the f3 in game menu, such as the warranted, employees tabs). For ors, corporala should have to option to either “claim” or “archive” the request in question and only SGTs+ should be allowed to archive or remove the requested warrant note (or dispatchers that can set warrants)

Why should this be added?:
- would assist player in requesting for a warrant to be placed when there are mo sgts on( this would especially come in handy in early hours when there arent many people on)
- could make the requesting of an OR wayyyy easier both for the officer getting it and the officer writing it.

What negatives could this have?:
- the warrant function could possibly be abused by unaware officers but the format should make it pretty easy to spot a wrongful warrant request

What problem would this suggestion solve?: People not being able to set warrants when no sgts online and being able to request ORs in a way easier manner

I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean, but if I'm not mistaken that's pretty much how warrants work already, just that only SGT+ can do them. The ORs thing seems like too much complication when you could just nicely ask for it on plpd.online.

Not really, im recommending that basically this type of remark should be able to be places by any officer ramked SO and above and this eould pop up in the warranted list, as well as when you anpr a car (basically get a bolo notification). This would basically be a type of warrant that has to be approved by a sgt but can be requested by SO+

The issue is the lack of incentives for CPL+ to actually want to do more then their required 2 ORs per month, as most just do the minimum in order to keep their rank in the PD, the reason I bring this up, was because this had been a thing around a year back I believe on the old website, where any CPL+ could setup an OR with a lower ranked officer using an application type format, however past the launch of that system, many did not use it and it became abandoned and then was closed and removed due to lack of any real engagement. Which whilst not identical, is quite a similar system to what you are suggesting here.

That is true, however i have recently seen a whole lot of recent promotions and ive seriously encountered corporals and sergeants that were begging to write ORs (im deadass, i have indeed met someone that requested to do an or with me).
