I have noticed a considerable increase to my ping on Perpheads. Being from the US, I would average 150-170 ping previously, which is totally normal for my connection.

Nowadays, my average is usually 210-250 ping with gigabit internet, which I find to be unreasonable for a server located in London.

I'm sure a lot of other US players feel the same way, and experience how frustrating it is to get into PVP and be a quarter of a second behind at all times.

This is not meant to be any attack to EU players with decent ping, but more of an opinion gathering about the current server situation especially with our large US population.

Let me know your thoughts.

Perhaps previously you were on when the server wasn't populated, and now you're mainly joining when the server is full?

I noticed that my ping would be roughly 130 when the server has around 60 players, and around 220 when the server's full.

I think it’s clear from the survey a large majority of players have seen a ping increase. I play the server no differently than I did previous.

Cloudflare can have some bad days but also your own ISP which is the case for me. Telekom has dreadful routing to Cloudflare services and some others due to a disagreement and fee's but it has been a lot better recently.

You could try your luck with a VPN and choose a server that is next to you or try Cloudflare Warp.
