Suggestion Topic: 3.4 Putting your Life at Risk
Suggestion Description: I think players should be allowed to stay inside their base when they have a warrant for serious crimes with 7+ year sentences. Rule 3.4 already allows players to fight police to avoid long prison sentences, so hiding inside a defended base should also be considered realistic roleplay. Players with active warrants for serious crimes may remain inside a defended base to avoid capture.

Why should this be added?:
It creates more realistic criminal roleplay.
Staying hidden in a base makes more sense than driving around while wanted.
Organizations already use bases as defended safe locations.
The current rule already allows extreme actions to avoid long prison sentences, so remaining inside a base should also be reasonable & also makes sense for players to remain inside a base

What am i supposed to stay out in a bush outside and a way to get caught and all my orgs members are wanted or allies am i post speak to a stranger on the street too seek shelter where i could get mug as i just met this guy.

What negatives could this have?:
Police raids may become more common.

You're staying in the one place police know is owned by someone that's wanted. If that isn't considered cop baiting I don't know what is.

driving around in a warranted car in public is less cop baiting?

Specifically if you already have drugs down. Let’s say I have just started a fresh coca batch and my org member finishes a raid and kills cops. He comes back to base to hide out. He will fight cops because he’s killed people. Wouldn’t it make sense for me the drug creator to stay and fight as well as it would warrant killing cops?

You are allowed to wait for your drugs as long as it is within a reasonable time frame, if your coke is 20% you should definetily not be hanging around if you know your property is warranted.
And to note, it was also your choice to commit a crime necessary of a warrant whilst growing drugs, you could also wait for them to finish first, and then do something to avoid this situation.
Can always ask someone who is not warranted to buy a property nearby to quickly transport your drugs also

Yes, 3.4 allows you to kill Police, if they find you and show intent to arrest. You are not allowed to immediately KOS Police as soon as you see them or if they have not explicitly shown they know you are warranted. For example, if you are breaking Traffic Laws and a cop attempts to pull you over, you shouldn't be immediately shooting them. You have to be 100% sure they are there to arrest you for the crimes you have committed.

If you sit inside your warranted base, Police will find you 100% of the times which is why it is against rule 3.4. You are basically ensuring Police contact by staying inside the warranted base. Just because you can fight the Police does not mean you should. You should ALWAYS try your best to avoid shootouts while warranted.

Changing this will result in the server becoming more PvP than it already is, players will sit inside their warranted base just for the shootouts and players will attempt to get easy warrants just so they can have a guaranteed shootout in their base.
I feel like you misunderstood the rule a little bit as you are not allowed to KOS Police if you are warranted, you are allowed to KOS them if they show intent to arrest you WHILE you are warranted. If we allow sitting in a base for a guaranteed shootout, might as well allow going to the PD to shoot at cops.

this would simply result in perma sieges where warranted people would sit in bases kosing cops over and over again for the org xp, it is too open to abuse.
