There has been alot of nice ideas that could fix this and wouldn't significantly hamper its just being held back for the next major update apparently.
I hope so, but most suggestions I see get denied due to either PD Mains or Crim Mains hating that idea and spam downvoting tf out of them, no matter what perpheads will sadly always be Cops vs Robbers, I don't see as sad as it is, how that would change with any update in the future. All be hopefully the new updates to gangs that will be coming might change some things, whether it's for the good or the bad we'll see.

If they were doing farming and making it so people could actually make food you would def see people like me RPing the fuck out of Farm and restaurant RP lmao. Unfortunately it's been suggested multiple times before and for 1 reason or another they are so heavily against something as simple as making your own food.

The IA system is sorta useless to. Any failure to follow policy should be dealt with by rules. As it stands right now most IA's are pointless toxic attacks on people, but without the punishment false ban reports would have. From an immersion sense i can see it and there are some light cases but most of the time I've seen nothing but it used as a way to attack people and deter people from playing cop. Why get them banned when you can destroy something they worked on just because you didnt win in a raid?

I can assure you that the Professional Standards Department and it's subsidiaries are possibly the most maturely run, sensible divisions in the entire PD. If a complaint seems petty or malicious, it is usually recognised and taken into account if the complaint is sustained and disciplinary action is issued.
It should absolutely NOT be dealt with in rules, that would ruin the point of RP even more, at this point let's remove the point of command and supervisors entirely then and bring back SWAT as a premium role, cause there's no point in managing things.
Staff is already busy as it is, stop trying to give them more work that will create even more burnout and ruin staff's lust to give a fuck about your reports.

The replies to this thread "to fix this" have been some of the worst ive seen were jst trying to limit the fuck out of crim trynna favor one side
Both sides are whining Crims Mains / Roleplayers / PD mains im no rocket scientist but i dont think it would be wise for one to be overshadowed by the other
Perpheads has BEEN more of a cop and robbers type game mode for a while now if u disagree your ethier not active enough or a crafter'
And no side is very happy and claims the other side has a higher priority then the other
LIMITING the other wouldn't solve the issue i just know that much so most of the replies on this thread trying to demonize crim and make them less things to do when most crims have been complaining abt the lack of content would be horrific

Crim mains and RP isn't exactly phrases that fits well together. Crim mains means you're primarily doing Crime, not normal civ stuff or police stuff. Constantly only doing crime is not really much "RP" in any sense to that word so no it doesn't bring anything but gunfights. There's also certain cops who is overly and TOO overly excessive.

I also agree with this statement entirely. IA is great for rp, but i just see it used as a weapon by toxic people most of the time. But i also agree it would burn staff out already. Its just one of those i dont know whats a good fix for either.
Oh yeah I trust the IA department heavily they've always been truthful. The issue is the person who makes the IA never gets punished, but that would also deter people from making proper ones so its one of those hard to solve issues. I've just never seen like... someone who makes 10 malicious IA's as they just use it to hurt cops vs actual reasons getting punished that was my complaint.

I'm serious. I dont like the IA system but the people inside it in my experience have always been pretty decent and willing to let it go on longer and discuss stuff.
