Perp Death or Perp Dramatic?

PERPHeads needs to change or continuously evolve in order for players to have the desire to keep playing and contributing to the community. I resigned because I knew I would be doing the same things over and over and over again, because it seemed like the developers refused to change the gamemode for the better. I got burnt out, and I thought that once I came back things would be better, but judging from these recent bans, it doesn't seem that way. I would be lying if I said these people would be missed, but then again, I don't think it's a good look for the server when players with lots of playtime decide to ban themselves from the community permanently. New players sticking around is good, but eventually they'll do the same thing Lhealey did, and the players that come after that will do the same as well.

Yes, ofcourse Perp would benefit from updates. People love updates! But remember, Perp is not a real game. It does not have this entire team behind it. It has a small group of Devs, each with their own lives. Updates cannot be churned out and they're not always good for everyone.
This wouldn't be as big of an issue if developers were more open with the community as to what was going to change and when. I understand it's likely impossible to come up with a concrete update schedule when every developer is a volunteer, but it would do a lot better for the community than just staying silent until the update actually comes out. No one is asking what players would like to see. No one is asking what issues there are with the gamemode. When someone writes about their issues with the gamemode, it gains a little bit of traction and is forgotten shortly thereafter.

if only we had people.... to manage the community..... and communicate between these people..... perhaps call them community managers... the bridge between players and staff....
