10 years!

Hello! Today marks a special day for me. Exact 10 years ago, I registered myself on the forums. I can not believe that I've player on the server for 10 years. Oc course with a few breaks, but I've always checked the forums from time to time and I always tend to come back. But wow, 10 years. I still remember that video I saw on YouTube from a guy playing as a firefighter driving around in Evocity. I fell in love with it. I got steam and bought Garry's Mod only for Perpheads. I had no idea what Garry's Mod was, but I was sure that Perpheads looked really fun and I wanted to try it.
10 years ago, I watched that video of a firefighter in perpheads. Today, I'm a firefighter IRL and I still play perp. I can not say that perpheads is what made me wanting to become a firefighter. But all firefighter games I've played of course plays a big part of it

So 10 years back, I was 13 years old. Barerly spoke any english, I was very shy and didn't know anyone in the community.
It's been a journey for me. I've developed my english, I've become confident to use my microphone and so on. All thanks to this community.

Throughout the years I've gained a lot of friends, some that have gone missing, but some who is still around. I've had so many laughs. I can not describe how much fun and how much I appreciate the people in this community. Even though the people I don't go along with, but still makes perp to what it is today.
I also want to thank the administration for the oppertunity to be a part of the staff team, I truly enjoy it!


I don't have much to say. Just wanted to mark my milestone and thank everyone.

It's really insane to be playing as a firefighter, fighting a fire at farm, 10 minutes after I sit in a real firetruck siren screaming all over town while going towads a forest fire in real life.

As someone who hasn't been in this community for that long, I mean half a year is nothing compared to 10 years I must say it is very, very impressive, especially with you being a real life first responder it's very cool to see, hope you stay here for longer cuz you are one cool ass dude : )

Same here it's truly mindblowing. One minute I'll be harassing females on Quality Street and 10 minutes later I'd be doing it at my town square in real life.
