Why were you punished?: Lying to a staff member. RDM. Prop Pushing
Why should this appeal be considered?: As i said in my previous dispute i don’t have anything to say about prop pushing charges. But im gonna go over the things they said because i wasn’t given the chance to give a reply on the ban appeal as it was instantly closed.
“You claimed that the person was trying to drag your unconscious friend's body around so that you couldn't perform CPR where your friend had accidentally fell off the fourth floor of Regals. The latter part simply wasn't true - you crushed your friend to death because you were minging about with a piano and a car and crushed him when he stepped out of the car, and the body fell onto the paving stones near the beach..
In-fact, the former wasn't true either; neither you nor your friend James Haggins were trying to perform CPR on your fallen friend at all, and the player in-question only dragged the body a small distance over to the Hungriges parking lot and stopped when the Police came. The truth of the matter is that you killed him because he did the laugh emote after the Police provided CPR and no Paramedics came, and James Haggins said "he's mocking you bro."
1) “You lied about how your friend died.”
-I accept that my description of how my friend was left unconcious is innacurate. However, i do believe an innacurate recollection shouldn’t be treated as a delibirate lie. I wasn’t intentionally changing the story about how the event has happened i was simply confused because some of my friends fell from regals a few minutes prior to that and if you watched the demos you have most likely already seen that.
2)” You claimed you were doing CPR”
-I never claimed i was physically performing CPR on Barry Bung, i simply said that the person was dragging his body around so it would be very hard if for us to perform CPR on the body. You also said that they only dragged the body a short distance but that does not change the fact that they intentionally dragged the body away from us despite being called upon multiple times as it is very clear both in the clips and the demos only to stop after encountering some police officers passing by and that clearly is just not to get in trouble with the cops. Also James Haggings is a new player so they don’t know CPR at all and i was on the phone with dispatch trying to get medical attention to my friend while also trying to keep up with the scene and the organisation chat, which was flooding at the time of the event if i recall correctly. (as its been over a week and i’ve been really busy with school & work stuff, i might have some gaps in information so i apologise for that beforehand)
3) “You only killed him because James Haggings said ‘He’s mocking you bro’.” & “You claimed there was an extensive fist fight with injuries so extensive it gave you a reason to kill the new player”
-I never implied in my report that the player caused any major injuries to one of my associates nor did i say it was an extensive fist fight. They were already lurking around just to harass us and that was a very clear provocation. As you can see in the demos and the clip that he was the one who started it. I never said anything remotely close to what you claimed i said here so i will just assume we had a slight misunderstanding with this part.
“Also, organisation messages were exchanged, and it's clear you as a group were trying to find any reason to kill this poor new player, likely because you were bored. Words to the effect of "we can instigate him to do something" and "lets bully him so we can shoot him" were used. I could go into the semantics of why regardless, what had happened was not enough of a reason to kill him anyway where no escalation by yourself had taken place as per the 2.5 guide, but I don't see much of a need to.”
-I know that you have access to organisation chat-logs as to why i also know that you can see who sent those messages. And you have most likely seen that i wasn’t involved in any of the messages sent about ‘looking for reasons to kill the player’ so i fail to see the purpose of bringing this up, knowing i have no part in any of the messages sent.
-And using these organisation messages to show that we did not have enough reason to kill this individual is, with all due respect, just incorrect because people who partook in those messages had only seen the player the first time he was lurking around us, they weren’t present during the whole incident starting with Barry Bung getting knocked unconscious by me.
“It's also pretty disingenuous of you in your second message, point three, to raise that simply to try and increase your potential reasons to have had cause to kill him as part of a dispute defence. None of you remarked on it in-game at the time, and you never raised it with @thehomelessdude in the report either, so you clearly didn't care.”
-I clearly specified that the reason i killed the person was because he was harrasing us non-stop and they started punching/showing my friend for no reason. As for these charges i think the clips are really more than enough but i think your claim here is that i did not specify what kind of harrasment we were dealing with so we didn’t ‘care enough’ and were just ‘looking for a reason to kill the fella’. Which i would say is a good point, but an AR in forums and a in-game ticket are completely different things. You simply don’t have enough time to put as much effort in an in-game ticket as a forum thread, because of roleplay situations. After i told the staff member who issued the ban that they harassed us, dragged our friends body around and picked up an unnecessary fight one of my associates, @thehomelessguy said that he was gonna take a look at the demo and let me know about the aftermath so i didn’t actually felt the need to specify what kind of harrasment we were talking about because he was already going to see it for himself. Which includes a nazi slur and this being overseen is confusing me.
If you want a shortened version of my whole argument;
I never said a significant event had led me to kill the new player, there were a list of collective events that finally led me to snap at him because he kept on doing stuff he knew was wrong on purpose just to provoke us. I do appreciate the effort being put into this dispute by the staff members but i, with all my honesty, do not appreciate the fact that the continuous harrasment including calling my friend a N*ZI slur, which i still am confused on how this has been overseen because i talked about this a lot in my previous dispute, has not been addressed to.
