he asked for pre-built keyboards not an arts & crafts project mate. I knew some greasy keyboard geek was gonna pop out of the basement to shame anyone without a custom-built lmaoDon't listen to any of the morons here, they know nothing.
Build your own its literally as easy as lego.
Any of the Q series boards here can be bought as barebones and you can then go and select your own silent keyswitches.

It's not an arts and craft project at all, you clearly know nothing about it.he asked for pre-built keyboards not an arts & crafts project mate. I knew some greasy keyboard geek was gonna pop out of the basement to shame anyone without a custom-built lmao
Thanks mate looking into itIt's not an arts and craft project at all, you clearly know nothing about it.
You buy a pre-assembled keyboard, pick switches based on sound and feel and literally clip them in like lego. It's as easy as taking off a keycap.
literally what I told him on Discord, stop buying shitty ass corsair keyboards that look like doodooDon't listen to any of the morons here, they know nothing.

@Creepis I’m looking at NZXT Function - they are hotswappable and actually come with the linear red keys which I believe are really quiet? A lot cheaper and fullsize only downside I can see is you need to use their software for the RGB but I already use this due to the NZXT CPU Cooler I have, thoughts?

barebones like GMMK or anything else works. Sites like Caseking have a GMMK and other configurators, I got my GMMK TKL with Kalih Purple Switches for under 100 Euros and the switches are literally hot swappable. Plus you won't have to deal with shitty software that keeps running in the background for RGB, you may lose out on macro abilities or some game sync like Logitech if your health is low (lol) but we have AHK for macros if you need it.
As an additional side note I spilled soup on my keyboard like a fucking idiot once but thanks to having a keyboard that can swap out switches I was able to replace and clean the areas that got fuckd by my food with isopropyl alcohol. Most don't even allow you to take the switches out as they're soldered into the board and made the cleaning process just much easier.
don't think I'll ever buy a big brand keyboard ever again just for having the freedom to mod it as you want which is as Alex mentioned REALLY EASY
This makes more sense than calling people who aren’t informed on why it’s better “morons”That shit will be okay but would highly recommend any of the hotswap boards from Keychron or GMMK, idk what size you want.
GMMK have some decent boards for like £100
Keychron have the same essentially
Anything with linear switches will be reasonably silent but if you want a completely stealth keyboard you'll need to swap the switches out which is incredibly easy and will cost an extra £40 but you can do that down the road.
I'll re-phrase it, you're not a moron, you're a consumer. This makes more sense than calling people who aren’t informed on why it’s better “morons”
Thanks for the explanation habibi
Look, regardless of what derogatory adjective you use you’re still being unnecessarily condescending and rude instead of explaining.I'll re-phrase it, you're not a moron, you're a consumer.
Have you not met Alex beforeLook, regardless of what derogatory adjective you use you’re still being unnecessarily condescending and rude instead of explaining.
Sorry for calling you a greasy keyboard geek, but I suggest you don’t verbally attack people for not knowing any better next time.
I have not, no. It’s my first interaction with him lolHave you not met Alex before
