Black bars :(

Okay, sorry if this post is in the wrong place but i was wondering if anybody new how to fix the black bar thing at the side of my video's for example:

Is it fixable or do i need a bigger monitor?

If you're using VEGAS PRO, then right click the video bar thing (at the lower area where you can insert video and audio clips) and press properties. Uncheck the "Maintain Aspect Ratio" box.

Record your footage at 1920x1080 to remove the black bars (provided you have a monitor that supports that resolution). That means if your monitor looks like on of them old shit boxes then you're buggered and need a better monitor.
