a simple question are police checkpoints alowed and if yes are there any good spots and things to do.

I believe police checkpoints were allowed but Not on the highway, probably a good spot is the parking lot of the hospital . But only down part to it is that most people have litterly no idea what to do and run your barricades/traffic cones over.

11.6 - Right to Restrict Entry to Public Places and Private Properties: Under certain circumstances, LEOs may restrict access to both Public Places and Private Property; this should only be done during situations where the civilian lives may be at risk (for example, during a Police raid, during a building fire, etc).

As this law states, if there is a high speed pursuit in progress that is risking lives of civilians then police may restrict a section of the highway where applicable to put an end to the risk.

Also, checkpoints can and should be used liberally. Especially during manhunts, they often produce some positive results.

Lockdown some city parts by Riots or bomb alerts is also usful to build up some checkpoints

I have seen police check points being used more and more effectively within rp situations and it always makes me happy to see players working together rather than just screaming about how there problem is more important than everyone else's on the radio. Very good but very irritating as a criminal :3
